Can you repair just one section of my floor?
Usually yes, especially with vinyl plank, laminate, tile or click-system floors where individual pieces can be lifted and swapped. The main limitation is matching material; if the product is discontinued we'll look for the closest match or discuss alternatives.
How much does flooring repair cost?
Small repairs like squeaks, a few boards or a loose tile are typically a few hundred dollars. Larger work involving subfloor replacement costs more. Every repair gets a written quote before we start, no surprises.
My floor squeaks. Is that serious?
Usually not. Most squeaks come from subfloor movement against fasteners or joists, and are a straightforward fix. It's worth checking, though, occasionally a squeak signals a subfloor problem underneath.
Can water-damaged flooring be saved?
It depends on the material and how long the water sat. Tile and vinyl plank usually survive; laminate rarely does. We test subfloor moisture and give you an honest answer rather than defaulting to replacement.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We provide written assessments and detailed quotes suitable for insurance purposes. You deal with your insurer directly, but we'll give you the documentation they ask for.
Do you repair floors you didn't install?
Absolutely. Most of our repair work is on floors installed by someone else, often years ago.
